Welcome to SU OutLaws!

The Seattle University School of Law OutLaws is a student organization dedicated to providing support to the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer (LGBTQ) community. OutLaws presents information to the legal community about issues facing LGBTQ people and works with the faculty and administration to eradicate barriers to the success of LGBTQ law students and their allies.

OutLaws Events

OutLaws sponsors and organizes a variety of events during the school year for present and past membership, staff, faculty, and the law school community at large. Additionally, OutLaws reaches beyond the Seattle University campus to engage the greater LGBTQ community of Seattle.

OutLaws Membership

OutLaws has a general membership of over 100 students, faculty, and staff from the Seattle University community. The organization is governed by a board of directors and is recognized by the Seattle University School of Law Student Bar Association. OutLaws is a member organization of the National LGBT Bar Association and is a charitable, cultural, and educational organization within the meaning of 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
