Mission Statement
The United Filipino Club of Seattle University strives to provide members of
the community with an opportunity to further their knowledge of the Filipino
culture and traditions. Through our events and activities, we hope to create a
sense of family as well as promote community involvement and awareness of our heritage to bring meaning to our identity as Filipino-Americans or as
members who wish to share this culture. We also aim to foster the
development of leaders that will continuously educate themselves beyond
their academic experience to affect the greater community.

NEXT MEETING INFO
Give Thanks for Filipinos at the next United Filipino Club Meeting! This upcoming meeting will be less about news and info and more about hanging out as a club! Sure we will have updates, but c'mon we're going to have way more fun!  What're we doing?:

CANNED FOOD DRIVE
We're getting closer and closer to that season of giving. We may be fortunate enough to be enrolled in high profile college, but we have to remember some people aren't as fortunate. So United Filipino Club will be holding a canned food drive in this single meeting! We're not forcing you to do anything, but it would be great if you could bring at least one can of food.

SPECIAL BARRIO SIGN UPS
Don't want to dance or act in a skit at Barrio, but still want to help out at Barrio? No problem! The Barrio committee chairs will be on hand and will be looking for people to fill other positions, such as food help, tech crew, photographers, etc. SO come down and sign up for these Barrio shadow positions.

NINJA TOURNAMENT
Come and learn a game called Ninja! A tournament will be held, to determine: WHO IS THE BEST NINJA?!

CRANIUM and other games
We will be bringing a selection of games that we as members can compete against each other with!

PAY YOUR DUES ASAP
As part of being an active member of the United Filipino Club,
a minor requirement we ask all our members to do is pay a small
membership fee.  You may be asking how much?  Not $20, Not $10,
Membership fees right now, are only
$8 and only $4 for alumni.
Your paid dues will gain you priority at UFC events as well as the
opportunity to get discounts at club related events (Barrio).
So pay your dues to your nearest officers NOW!
