However, conventional politics cannot solve these problems. To a large extent, conventional politics is the problem. ReformDemocrats offers a strategy for resolving this impasse. Free of both interest group funding and ideological rigidity, ReformDemocrats draws upon the best public policy proposals emanating from public intellectuals, the universities, and think tanks to formulate our program. We view politics as an instrument for gaining the enactment of good public policies that will solve societal problems, not the search for issues that will ensure election and reelection. |
