Engineers Without Borders at Seattle University is committed to designing and implementing sustainable engineering projects in developing communities.  Here is a list of our projects with links to more information.

Current

Hagley Gap, Jamaica
Description:  This project will assist in the design and construction of a sustainable bridge over the Yallahs River.   

Near Managua, Nicaragua
Description:
  SU-EWB students will partner with the SU Chemistry Department to develop coffee production facilities for farmers.

Zambia, Africa
Description:
  Laptop computer donation program.

Thailand Dormitory Project (2005-2006)
Description: 
Designed and constructed a dormitory for school children in the remote village of Mae Nam Kuhn, Thailand. 

Thailand Water Treatment System (2007)
Description: 
Designed and constructed a drinking water treatment system for the dormitory in Mae Nam Kuhn.

Managua, Nicaragua (2007) NEW UPDATE!
Description:
  Diverted stormwater from an elementary school's courtyard.

Curtis, Washington (2008) NEW UPDATE!
Description:
  Provided clean wash water for flood relief workers.
