Last Tuesday, we made rosaries in front of the Student Center Hearth. Even though no tables were provided for us, that didn't stop us! We made 21 rosaries total.

Coming up is the Membership and Officer Induction! This will be on Friday, Feb. 9th at 7:00pm. It will be a Potluck Style dinner, so bring a dish if you want. Make sure you come so you can be formally inducted into the club.

Catch your chance to see the Seattle Symphony perform live for FREE! This event is being brought to you by the wonderful Kiwanis Club of West Seattle. This will take place Thursday, January 25 at 7:30PM inside the Performing Arts Theatre in West Seatle High School. Even though this event is free admission, seating is limited. Make sure you try to RSVP to Gretchenrae if you are interested in going just so we can be sure of how many people from our club is attending this event.

Don't forget about DCON! If you haven't registered for it yet, you should! It's an awesome event! Only $54 for three days of fun-filled workshops and activites. If you are interested, please talk to one of the officers as soon as possible so we can help you register for this event. Registration deadline is January 26th.

By the way, I have fixed the Service Hours Submission page. This means that you are now able to submit your service hours online through this webpage! How convenient! You can access the page by clicking on the link on the right hand side of this page that says "Report Your Service Hours Here!"

District Convention (DCON) is coming near! It will take place from Feb 16-18, in Bellingham, Wa. For those that don't know what it is, it is a convention with educational workshops, fun-filled sessions, and where we participate in the building of the future of our very own PNW district. Over two hundred members and guests from throughout the PNW District will be there! It is an exciting experience and everyone should try it out. The fee of the the event is over $150, but at SU Circle K, you only have to pay $54!!! The other costs are covered by our own club funds and from our wondering sponsoring Kiwanis Clubs. The deadline for registration is January 26, 2007. So if you want to go, hurry up!

Remember, we don't have a general meeting on Tues, Jan 23. Instead, we are holding a Rosary Making Party at the Student Center Hearth on that day starting at 5:00pm. The rosaries that we will be making will be donated globally.

Be sure that you check the calendar for more upcoming events!
