Beta Alphs Psi vs. Accounting Soceity

Beta Alpha Psi

 

Complete 15 professional hours and 15 community service hours in a period of two

consecutive quarters.

10 of the 15 professional hours must be BAP sponsored. (Planned by BAP)

10 of the 15 community service hours must be BAP sponsored. (Planned by

BAP)

After completing the 15 professional and 15 service hour requirements, the third

quarter you must complete 10 more hours, and they can be any combination of

community service or professional hours.

 

Additionally, for initiation and membership in BAP, you…

Must complete 2 upper division courses within 2 consecutive quarters

Must have a GPA of 3.2 or above in major & overall

Regular attendance is required to maintain active status

Dues for each quarter are $45 ($90 for first quarter of being a candidate)

Once a member:

 

Complete 40 hours a year, consisting of 15 community service and 15

professional hours

Pay dues of $45 each quarter

Accounting Sociey

Ø  Accounting major with a GPA of 2.5 or above

Ø  Complete 10 professional and 10 community service hours a year

Ø  Pay dues of $45 each quarter
